Parking Committee (Chris Offen): Private parking signs will be installed on Beaker St, Midline Ave, and Faraday Park Dr. Report vehicles belonging to non-residents and non-guests on these streets to the parking committee: Jason Berg (jason@bestbergs.com) and Carolyn Cochran (carolyn.cochran@yahoo.com).
Landscaping Committee (Tracy King): Freddy’s weeded and trimmed plants and trees and replaced plants on homeowners’ properties in phase 1 last month. Please water your plants to set them up for success! Phase 2 homeowners’ should report their unhealthy and missing plants to EYA warranty. Replacing plants in common areas is on hold until the transition from EYA is complete.
Community Transition Committee (Chris Offen): A third-party engineer was selected to perform the transition study by the board and agreed to by EYA. The study visit is being scheduled. The community will be asked for input via a resident survey.
Communication Committee (JoAnn Kuo): A neighborhood website is under development.
Architectural Review Committee (ARC) (JoAnn Kuo): Nothing to report.

Helpful Hint:
Our rooftop drains have a tendency to clog. If you have a floating tile floor, you have to periodically lift the tiles to check or the rooftop can flood and overflow into the fourth floor. Bob Kraft fashioned a lifting tool using a vice grip and an allen wrench (see pic).
