HOA Newsletter. August 23, 2025. Issue 4.

Below you will find HOA committee updates, upcoming area events, future area development links, and “get to know a neighbor”.

Contact information:

HOA board: email RestonStationBOD@theoharis.com to include all board members

Theoharis Management: email RestonStation@theoharis.com with neighborhood issues (cc the board to keep them in the loop).

HOA Committee Updates: If you are interested in joining any of these committees or learning more, please email the board. The board contact is in parentheses.

Social Committee (JoAnn Kuo): Nothing to report. To suggest an idea for a group or event, please email the board.

Parking Committee (Chris Offen): Nothing to report. Report parking-related issues to the parking committee: Jason Berg (jason@bestbergs.com) and Carolyn Cochran (carolyn.cochran@yahoo.com).

Landscaping Committee (Tracy King): Bio-retention dissipators (I.e., rock beds) were reset, and landscaping was trimmed. Phase 2 homeowners should report their unhealthy and missing plants to EYA warranty. Replacing plants in common areas is on hold until the transition from EYA is complete. To help maintain the landscaping, please try to avoid letting pets go to the bathroom on grounds directly next to our townhomes and water your plants when the weather has been hot and/or dry.

Community Transition Committee (Chris Offen): The board and EYA walked through the community with a third-party engineer, who will submit a report. A resident survey for homeowners to report relevant community issues is forthcoming.

Communication Committee (JoAnn Kuo): Nothing to report.

Architectural Review Committee (ARC) (JoAnn Kuo): ARC is now in place.  Any exterior modifications to your property must be applied for and approved beforehand. Two files were posted on the Owners Portal for your convenience: 1) the exterior paint colors and finishes used on our houses and 2) Articles 6 and 7 (Architectural Control and Use Restrictions, respectively) from the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CCR).

  - What is the scariest animal? X

  - What is your favorite action movie? X

  - You get one song to listen to the rest of your life, what is it? (You don’t have to listen to it all the time, but when you listen to music, it’s the only song.) X

JoAnn Kuo, HOA Board Vice President

  - Scariest animal?  Scorpion

  - Favorite action movie?  The Bourne Identity or The Italian Job (Wahlberg version)
