Contact information:
HOA board: email RestonStationBOD@
Theoharis Management: email RestonStation@theoharis.
HOA Committee Updates: If you are interested in joining any of these committees or learning more, please email the board. The board contact is in parentheses.
Social Committee (JoAnn Kuo): Weather was perfect for the Community Potluck on Sunday, October 26. Same was the case for the BYOB Happy Hour/Bocce Ball on Thursday, August 28 (omitted from the September newsletter). If you would like to host a private event in a common area, such as the picnic pavilion or concrete pad, or suggest an activity, please email the board.
Parking Committee (Chris Offen): Reporting of parking issues has decreased since the private parking signs were posted. Report parking-related issues to the parking committee: Jason Berg (jason@bestbergs.com) and Carolyn Cochran (carolyn.cochran@yahoo.com).
Landscaping Committee (Tracy King): Freddy’s will collect and remove fallen leaves periodically over the next couple of weeks. Final trimming and mulching will occur later in the year in preparation for winter.
Community Transition Committee (Chris Offen): The third-party engineer finalized the transition study report in September, based on the community walk-through with EYA and the HOA board and relevant responses from the homeowner survey. EYA started work on common area repairs based on items in the report (e.g, repairing concrete spalling/flaking and cracked sidewalks and curbs). EYA completes repairs prior to turning over the neighborhood to the HOA, so the HOA receive it in good shape.
Communication Committee (JoAnn Kuo): Nothing to report. Check out the HOA website (www.townhomesatrestationhoa.
Architectural Review Committee (ARC) (JoAnn Kuo): Nothing to report. Any exterior modifications to your property must be applied for and approved beforehand.

Helpful Hints:
Winterizing a hose bib too early in the year won’t have any negative impacts on your home, so why wait until it is freezing outside? Step-by-step directions can be found on the HOA website at https://www.
townhomesatrestonstationhoa. org/p/winterizedrain-hose- bibs.html. This will prevent those pipes from freezing and bursting, which can lead to costly repairs. Remember to change smoke and heat detector batteries as daylight saving time ends to prevent that annoying chirping from waking you up in the middle of the night (https://www.
townhomesatrestonstationhoa. org/p/changing-fire-detector- batteries.html).
